Really good hedgie food! 9 Months ago
Their is this brand of organic cat food that is healthy. It's called Brandon Farms Organics, you can get it in a pound and a larger size, it says no corn, no wheat, no soy. The first few ingredients are organic chicken, chicken meal, organic ground barley, organic ground oats, ect. My hedgie loves it, buts thats just her

I just looked that food up.. I think I like it.. at least as part of a mix it would be good! I don't think I would feed it alone though.

Yeah, I've seen this brand at the grocery store. (Dillons, other chains owned by Kroger would probably have it too.) The 'Naturals' variety is a touch high in fat, but the 'Organics' variety is pretty much just right.

You can lead a hedgehog to prune juice, but you can’t make him drink it.
Nor would you want to.

I found this organic food too my hedgehogs are not so sure about eating it yet though. Daisy was nuts for it for a couple days now she's not so happy with it. It's a good food though 30% protein 14% fat.

Re:Really good hedgie food! 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago
it's mixed in with other foods and they just happen to prefer things like purina or RC over something like this is all.

Daisy is also pregnant so don't know if they have pregnancy cravings like humans but I know she can get quirky when expecting.

Changing a hedgehogs food all the time is not good and can cause stomach upset so I wouldn't want to be constantly changing their food everyday.

oh and actually here is the link to the organic food I found: http://www.naturalplanetorganics.com/index.php/products/information/cat_food
