Just some questions about liners and litters. First of all, how many owners on here use a litter box for your hedgies? Do they adhere to it? Also, what kind of bedding do you use with it? Mainly I'm wondering about how clean liners can be kept with a litter pan in the cage. Any and all answers are much appreciated.

All my hedgehogs are litter trained for the most part and use their litter boxes filled with Cozy-n-Fresh pellets. For me, with the hedgehogs being litter trained I can usually use one liner for an entire week before I notice a smell. So I keep 2 liners per cage. That way by the time 2 weeks is up I will have one full load of laundry for the hedgies.
Awesome. That is exactly what I was hoping for. Have you found it difficult to litter train them? Because Maybelle is ridiculously stubborn, and I don't really want to embark on something that will probably not turn out well. Thanks a bunch Nathan!
All of mine have been very easy to litter train. All caught on after the first try or so.I have some that are better than others, and I have some that won't use it as much if it already has a few poos in it. Every once in a while some get a little lazy but its really good for the most part. But it always depends on the hedgehog. You should give it a try, maybe Maybelle will suprise you!
