I have a hedgie I got from this kid because he didn't want her anymore, but she will not even touch the wheel. She came with her cage, but no wheel. I got her a silent spinner and she ignores it. She runs around it alot, but dosn't use it. So should I just take it out and give up or what?

If the cage didn't come with a wheel, chances are she's never seen one before and doesn't know how to use it. Leave the wheel in the cage. Eventually, her curious hedgie nature will get the better of her and she'll be wheeling like a lunatic in no time

idk, I think she runs on itat like 3 in the morning because their's always bedding on it when I wake up, but they don't call it a silent spinner for nothing....

My Paula did not take to her wheel at all. She crawled through the stand of it and kept knocking it over. I even tried to secure it and she did not use it at all. I would be able to hear her if she had used it. Therefore I built her a running track instead and she is very happy.

Most hedgehogs love the wheel once they figure it out. There are a very few that don't like it. I always recommend having a wheel in the cage, even if your hedgie isn't using it yet. Hedgehogs need exercise or they can become grumpy.
