I have tried everything possible to trim one of our girls nails. I have tried the bath with 2-3 inches of water and she ends up balling up so she inhales water, or flails around till she gets water in her ears. I have tried having someone else hold her and she won't come out of her ball. I have tried holding her, slipping her feet through my fingers, and she dang near bit my hand off. We got this hedgie about a month or so ago. She is roughly 7-8 months old, but appears to be stunted as she is little, the size of our 3 month old. She came in a cage with bedding and a food dish and water bottle. No litter box, no igloo, no wheel, nothing. She was not handled a whole lot until we got her. She is friendly and you can hold her and she will walk all over you and explore. Her nails are soooo long though. I don't want them to curl.
