distinct line on her head 6 Months ago
I took Peekaboo out this morning to say good morning and to give her a mealie and I noticed an inch long patch directly in the center of her forhead area missing quills and bare. I looked in her house, there is nothing but her bowl and water bottle to rub on. Her toys are soft and the balls are round. Her wheel stand doesn't have any sharp edges. What could this be?

Dry skin? Do I need to give her an oatmeal bath? Does stress cause them to do these things?

She has been more huffy and puffy lately. I had to move her house to a different location because she is SO noisy at night!

We have dogs but they don't try to hurt her, just sniff when I take her out.

What is it? Ugh....I'm worried...

This is normal, all hedgies have it. It is so when they roll up into a ball they can tuck their heads in. Most of the time I can hardly see Pyjama's "reverse mohawk". I am sure there is an article on the left about it too.

Yea, they all have one. It's also so they can cross their forehead-quills to keep predators away. There was a whole article on it last time I checked, but apparently it was removed. But I did find this:

Why does my hedgehog have a bald mohawk on it's head?-
This is perfectly normal, and seen in all hedgehogs to at least some extent. This bald area allows the quills of the forehead to cross effectively when the hedgehog rolls into a ball.
