I recently got my baby hedgehog. She's about 8 weeks old. It's the first one I've ever owned so I have no idea what to expect. She is albino, so I'm afraid she has some visual issues. She also has been sleeping a lot, so much that she's not up when I go to bed (9-10pm) and she's sleeping again when I wake up (5am). Is this normal?

To get her out of her cage, I have been taking her out and letting her sleep if she wants to. If I don't let her, she gets super cranky. I haven't been able to pick her up without a towel over her yet, but she will crawl into my hands after awhile. I'm afraid of giving her a bath or clipping her nails if she's still afraid of me.

I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong and she'll end up not liking me. I enjoy having her with me finally (I live alone) but I'm hoping that she'll actually want me to hold her.
