How old for a bath? - 2006/09/21 21:25 I was just wondering how old hedgies have to be to get a bath and nail trimming. Ellies babies are 6 weeks and I wanted to see how they like the water. Is this to young?

Re:How old for a bath? - 2006/09/22 00:00 at that age, they shouldn't need their nails trimmed, and unless they need a bath, I wouldn't give it to them.
Unless a hedgehog is having a really hard time with quilling, I typically don't bathe until they are about 3 months or older, except for the occasional light colored hedgehog that loves making themselves into a huge mess, I will bathe them before they go to their new home.
