Soap for Bathing - 2004/11/27 09:08 I am just curious as to what type of soap everyone uses when they bathe their pogs. I use different types of shampoos. I have an aloe and oatmeal animal shampoo from the vet and I have also used Johnson's No More Tears.

Re:Soap for Bathing - 2004/11/29 06:36 I use a mild generic liquid soap I bought at BJ's warehouse. It has a little bit of a scent, and it doesn't seem to bother them at all.

Re:Soap for Bathing - 2005/10/25 16:49 I use a shampoo which i got from my vet called relief. It seems to work well when my hedgies have dry skin. I used to also use a Rosa Mosqueta ( rosehip) shampoo, with very good results. I would find it at Whole Foods. www.hedgeboken.com

Re:Soap for Bathing - 2006/12/26 12:13 Baby shampoo is fine-just don't use too much or too often so their skin does not get too dry Ann

Re:Soap for Bathing - 2006/12/27 02:52 I use aveeno oatmeal baby bath. It has a light scent but the hedgies don't seem to mind it and it cleans the poop off of their quills really well. Cyn and Hedgie Boys
