Hedgehog at play - 2005/07/08 13:02 One of the babies I recently sold was very playful. When I have the prospective new parents over I put the baby in the kiddie pool and this little guy was having a blast yanking the little ferret weeble wobble toy around as well as pushing the little car. The weeble wobble toy is bigger than the little guy and he was going crazy with it. I had never seen them really interact or show even a passing interest in it before so this was really cool to see. The other great part was watching him push the car. Another toy I have not seen any hedgie show interest in.

Of course this little guy also did the usual tp tube on head but the other play was very interesting to watch as well.

Re:Hedgehog at play - 2005/07/08 21:07 Watching hedgehogs play is one of the most exciting things to watch! My little girl Lexie was outdoors today, and she happen to make two new friends! She was playing in the garden, when she headbutts a toad to my feet! It was to cute, but I quickly moved the toad because you never know Then a few minutes later, a "kill-deer" (an annoying bird lol) came and approached Lexie, but I had to scare the bird away because the bird didnt look friendly! Watching them run outdoors is so much fun! Just becareful that they dont get lost in holes or get attacked by other animals. If you make sure they are well, they will have so much fun!
