Quilling - 2007/12/07 09:34 What is the longest time you've ever had a hedgie quill for? I know they go through several stages of quilling in their lives, but just wondering what is the longest it ever took your hedgie(s) to go through that stage. *~*Steph*~*

Re:Quilling - 2007/12/07 10:13 I've had some that seemed to take FOREVER = many weeks - particularly when they are turning white. More typically, I'd say each quilling session averages around 1 - 1 1/2 weeks. Stasi

Re:Quilling - 2007/12/07 12:29 It varies greatly by hedgehog. I have some that have spent a month of longer quilling.

I have to disagree with Stasi's assessment on the length of quilling. You usually get most of your moodiness over with in a week or 2, but from quill out to new quills in I would say it's a 2 week minimum.

Re:Quilling - 2007/12/07 20:24 oooh disagreeing with the Stasi!!! gasp!!
You do realize, now i will be very diligent in timing the quilling periods...to see just who's closer to right....though, I also think it depends on WHICH quilling set they're going through.

Re:Quilling - 2007/12/07 22:11 Do you find that some quilling periods take longer than others? Such as a newborn quilling, to an adolescent/young hedgehog quilling? *~*Steph*~*
