H20 for hedgie - 2008/04/07 22:18 I just got my first ever hedgie home this weekend and I have a water bottle hooked to his home. I hadn't seen any change in the water level since Saturday so I put a small dish of water in with him. I can't visably see a change in that either. Should I be concerned? I have noticed a change in food by morning however, so I know he's eating well

Re:H20 for hedgie - 2008/04/07 23:20 Same thing happened when I first brought my hedgehog home. Turns out he had been drinking fine all along. Keep in mind that hedgie stomachs are tiny and don't hold much. Regardless I would keep an eye on the water. He's most likely drinking, it probably just doesn't show too well in the bottle. Check out Ham's Blog !

Re:H20 for hedgie - 2008/04/08 09:46 I was concerned about the same thing when I brought Tweetle home... what I did to make sure he was drinking out of his water bottle was I took a dry erase marker and drew a little line, that way I could tell that he was drinking... slowly but surely! **Mommy of Tweetle the hedgehog!**
