Three Years.. - 2008/01/15 13:01
After almost 3 long years of research and planning I had a litter a 6 weeks ago.. Allot of time and concideration has gone into deciding to breed.. I even had gone as far as to talk to the tons of breeders before I bought my hedgies. I finally found two that would listen to my every question. Tig and Laura spent countless hours answering anything and everything I could throw at them. I did my research on which exotic vet would be best for my little ones. I have gotten all my paper work done. I also am nurotic enough to make a 3 inch binder of all the latest hedgehog information.. I would like to introduce
Fluffy (Kelly, told ya I would do it! , Brillo and Snuggles!

[img] Wow!!,Congratulations, and the best of luck to you and your new babies, and Mommie too.(of course) What an exciting event.On Saturday I'm getting my first hedgie from Kelly. And I'm sooo freakin' excited it's like being pregnant! Crazy dreams and all!!
I saw some old posts and I was wondwering if there was a Fluffy yet or not!

Yes but I got them all loaded right after editing and my 18 month old son decided to turn the power of on my computer so here is my second attempt

Thanks guys I am super excited myself and I would have posted about them sooner but life has a way of making days fly by and with 3 kids and my critters most of my day is filled with them and their needs. I am excited now that they are on there way to adult hood the baby stage scared me to death. I called Laura frantic more than a few times.. She was great and would say stuff like " Its ok Kitty calm down the mom is probly still out of the nesting box to get a rest from the babies" mean while I am on the verg of tears cause I don't want her to abandon them... I know it sounds crazy huh! I just really am worried I would mess something up..
Lori CONGRATS on the new baby!! I know when I got my first hedgie 7 yrs ago I couldn't even sleep the night before. It is such an awesome thing when you first meet them and after they bond to you! BTW Kelly is one of the best breeders to go to. You can tell she really loves and cares about her hedgehogs and hedgehogs in genral. Once again Congrats and you will have to keep us all posted!

Thanks for the kind words and my god I think I am pregnant (just kidding and don't let my husband know I said that!!) I swear to god I almost got weepy with your reply! What a boob ,huh?
I think I'm wacked out with all of this anticipation stuff. Don't worry you will be sure to hear from me after I get my little bugger. I'm sure I'll have a bajillion questions and concerns I just wished I were into the digital age with the cameras and such. Oh well, I guess I'm lucky to have a computer!

I want to BUT Bill is being an butt.. He said NO and I said well I don't trust anyone else with my babies.. So I told him I get two out of three Fluffy will stay of course cause she followes me everywhere and I love her and Snuggles will stay. Brillo is going to my best friend who I know has already run out and bought everything conciveable that is hedgie safe! Also I made her read my huge hedgehog care guide I put together and quized her on it . I trust her however I just want to make sure she is fully prepaired. Brillos cage is already set up at her house but she has to wait two more weeks. I know this is killing her but she stops by and visits him every day after work.. I want to take all the babies to the vet and make sure they are doing really well before I let him go. I honestly don't know how other breeders do it I worry people won't treat them right.
