I am guessing that she had 4-5 but will know for sure when I get them out in a couple of weeks. However we do have a major problem I am moving into my apartment on Friday and it is between 30-45 degrees outside and I am not sure what to do? Is it safe to move Heangel and the babies if I wrapped them up really well? Or should I move her cage upstairs and leave her here at my in-laws until the babies are two weeks or older? It may be warmer by then and the babies will be older. But I am just not sure what to do . I mean we only have a 15 min car drive and I could have the heat blaring in the car and at the apartment and the last night Heangel was in the car she was fine. But she is a first time mom and I am just at a loss as what to do.
congrats!!
I wouldn't risk moving the mom and babies. Going from one house, to the cold, then in the moving car, then back out side, then in to a different house seems as if it would be majorly stressful on the mommy. I would leave the mom and babies there until mommy is totally comfortable with you holding that babies, after she's fine with that, I think it would be fine to move them then. Which would probably be around 2 weeks.
