Anybody selling hedgies near Indiana? - 2007/04/29 21:17 I was just wondering if anyone was interested in selling hedgies around Indiana. I live in Franklin,In this is about 20 miles south of Indianapolis.
I have a male and wanted to get a female so I could experience babies,

Re:Anybody selling hedgies near Indiana? - 2007/04/30 05:55 You may get a lot more than you bargained for if you go into breeding just to experience babies. Mothers can and do destroy their litters, mother or babies can get sick and require large vet bills. Yes, babies are cute

, but there are lots of things that can go wrong.

Re:Anybody selling hedgies near Indiana? - 2007/04/30 18:23 I know a lot about that. I've raised a litter of dogs, cats, and rabbitts. I have had the rabbitt mom kill her babies, and the cats die and run away. I also use to have snakes and lizards but they got sick and died of some reptile disease.
I have had my boy hedgehog (knuckles for a little over a year and he seems to be in good health(just a little lonely).
