oh and you know what I just noticed. Hedgehogs have really funny legs. Those little skinny things are just so unexpected when you look at the whole pudgy body. They make me so happy

The rock climbing picture is my favorite too that sure is an adventurous hedgehog! It really would be fun if there were hedgehog Olympics though. I'd watch hedgehogs over people any day!

Oh my goodness--I LOVE these pictures. You really have captured the spirit of the hedgie in these pictures. And how beautiful the background is--you are lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

A book?? I'll think about it (tax free for export too).
What kind of book do you like?? Only photos?? Anything to advice??
I wanna know on these topics, can you help me... please.
1. Quality? 2. Price? (for each country?) 3. What kind? (like Photos, Story, Handbook?, etc) 4. what size should be best? (I guess A4 or A3) 5. How many pages?

Re:Hedgy! - 2008/05/22 14:29
Oh man Kane, GREAT pictures as usual!! I like the book idea!!I think a picture book would be awesome ! And once that's done and published, maybe you could do a little story about a hedgehog, I'm sure these smart and creative people could help you with a storyline. Anyway in answer to your questions.... 1. Nice glossy photos would be great and really show off your camera work. 2.I think U.S. about 14.99 to 19.99 would be a good price. 3.I guess I kind of answered this one above...first a nice glossy picture book and then a story book about a wayward hedgehog..(just an idea, what do I know) 4. 5.30, I have no idea I'm just throwing a number out.Hee!Hee! Anything that shows off your pictures would really be incredible!! Lori

WOW! Let me just say, again, WOW!
I agree with what everyone else said about your pictures. They are amazing. I need to add that not only is your picture taking ability fantastic, but the subject of your pictures is the best!!! I could look at hedgies all day. Your hedgie is adorable, and your ideas of how to shoot (picture) your hedgie is magnificent, too! More, more, more, please!

I would definitely buy some of your pics..they are just beautiful. By far the best pics I have ever seen of Hedgehogs!
As far as this group of pics goes, it would be so super easy to turn it into a children's book and just make it about a hedgehog searching for either a mealworm, a toy, a friend, etc. I bet you could get it published and kids LOVE hedgehogs....almost as much as we adults do!

What a cute hedgie and what an active life he leads! I am quite amazed by its wall scaling capabilities. Mine is more of the leisure type/running for freedom when the door is open, so I have yet to see any climbing that I have read so much about. I wish I had your picture taking capabilities kudos to you

I am amazed by your hedgies daytime adventures. Mine runs for the darkest hole she can find when the light is on. She'll only come out and explore in very low light.
