2008 Hedgehog Calendar Photos - 2007/12/28 07:55 From what I can find, there is a general lack of quality hedgehog calendars out there for purchase. I've decided to go ahead and make my own calendar for 2008. What I need is quality, high-resolution photos of hedgies to make it with! I figure since this message board is home to some of the world's most gorgeous hedgies, what better place to look? If you'd like to participate in this "help-wanted" of sorts, please send your photos as an attachment to celiazeinert@yahoo.com with the name of the individual to whom the photo is attributed and the name of the hog(s) pictured. I will choose the 12 best pictures and make the calendar available online for everyone to purchase, but I need your help in making this a reality!

Please send your photos ASAP so we can get this going for 2008. As soon as I get the calendar made, I'll let everyone know the link so you can check it out and see your babies strutting their stuff. I'd love to have as much participation as possible, so please send those photos my way!

Just curious. I know there are a lot of different ways to do this and different sites that you can use. Speaking of which, what site are you using to put it together and sell it. Mac sent an ad to my inbox advertising i-photo and an online site that you can put a calendar together and buy for $19.95. I don't know if it works for multiple buyers, but they did have several nice formats to choose from.

What about breeders, can we put our herd names on the photo? It would be a great opportunity for advertisement (although kind of like preaching to the choir).

My husband is a big photo geek, so I have to ask about photo rights. Once we send in the photos, are they limited to you only using them on the calendar or will you be putting them on other products?

You will retain the rights to all your photos. I will put your name on the photo to show that you took the photo and you retain the rights to it. If you are a breeder and you have a URL for your website, I will DEFINITELY put it in the calendar as a means of free advertising. That is most certainly an option.
