Re:Bedding - 2006/03/10 02:54 Good news! Since changing from corncob bedding to Super Shavings, Oliver's runny nose has stopped (the vet thought he was allergic to something---guess it was the corncob dust) and he is really enjoying the shavings! Thanks again for a great idea!

So, did the skunk OD on the rum and die and spill the remaining rum, or did he die and someone dumped rum on him?

Speak for yourself! I could use that bag and still need at least 5 more! LOL!

Re:Bedding - 2006/07/28 04:33 I recently noticed that my Hedgehog has been eating the Carefresh bedding. Or at least it looked like it from his poo. I hand sewed him a cage liner (I'm a poor, sewing machine-less college student) but the first thing he did was crawl under it! Whats wrong with my sewing skills?

Smeeker is pretty much the cutest!

Re:Bedding - 2006/08/03 10:44 The breeder I purchased my hedgie from placed a floor mat on the cage while he was displaying them, so their feet wouldn't slip through the wire bottom, and my hedgie's sister refused to come out from under it.

And to join the other conversation: I used pine shavings and I never smell a thing, unless I miss cage cleaning day. (Which is Fridays, so he'll have a fresh weekend).

If he keeps crawling under you might try putting a cloth on top of the liner. Then he can go between the two. Just check for loose strings that he could get caught on.

Very cute pictures!
