Puppy Training Pads? - 2007/05/06 07:59 Hello Everyone!

I have seen on several breeders websites and on the forum that some hedgie owners use puppy training pads in the cages in place of a litter box. My question is whether or not it would be safe to use the training pads to line the whole cage. It seems to me that would be cleaner than wood shavings and easier than cage liners because you wouldn't have to wash anything.

Am I mistaken?

Thanks,

Re:Puppy Training Pads? - 2007/05/06 11:21 I don't like the puppy pads because they have a plastic bottom. I worry that the hedgie will crawl under it and suffocate.
