Re:Cute tubes?? - 2007/07/10 02:46
I thought I was buying a plastic tube from exculsively hedgehogs, well color me a NEWBIE for what I ordered was that craft foam that had been glued. At $2.95 each I was really embarassed but now I'm glad I have it for it is great in the tub..., don't get wet like cardboard. I toss one in when P-k is having her morning poopy nail soak.
Paper tubes are still a big hit here and we actually play games. She'll get it on her snout and go up and hit Johns leg so he'll pull it off and toss it and she'll retrieve. Me, she'll go to the end of the bed and shake it off so it goes on the floor and I have to pick it up and throw it back. The best thing is this cloth tunnel from a fleece sleeve... we put a couple of tubes in it and she charges into one side and comes out the other wearing one of the tubes. Oh how i wish there was a way I could post vhs video on this site, she's delightful!
Then the other night the one paper tube was getting ratty so we cut off the ends and end up with a 2 inch piece... it's now her favorite! She just loves wearing it for she can really see out better than down a long tube.
I don't do hot glue. If I get ambitious to make some of my own foam tubes, what kind of glue is safe for hedgies?
