Pink wheel - 2007/08/18 17:25 I am wanting to do a cage in all pink when I get my hedgehog. Have any of you guys seen a pink hedgie safe wheel anywhere? ~Erin~

Re:Pink wheel - 2007/08/18 19:44 You could try to find a pink bucket and make a wheel out of that, or do an internet search for colorful buckets- some people could make a bucket wheel for you, and they may have pink. I remember finding someone who made colorful buckets, and they had purple, light blue, pink, and they were kind of see-through, very pretty. I can't remember the site though, and I think they were kinda expensive.

Re:Pink wheel - 2007/08/18 20:45 The comfort wheels come in pink. The silent spinner wheel is definetly closer to a red color than pink.

Are the silent spinners really silent? I have a comfort wheel and most of the noise is due to it tapping against the sides of the cage and wiggling against the bars. (I have a marchioro cage.) Jessica

Re:Pink wheel - 2007/08/20 08:53 Yup, our Silent Spinner is very quiet. If your wheel is tapping up against the side of the cage a lot, you can stick a piece of fleece through the wires (you have a marchioro cage, right?) behind the wheel, to put some padding between the wheel and the side of the cage. We did this when our first Silent Spinner broke and were using a cheap-o plastic wheel from Petco. It worked great, but I'm glad we got a new Silent Spinner to replace the old one
