Second Hedgie Question - 2007/10/17 14:29 I am getting a second hedgie on Monday (or beginning of the week at some time) and although I am sure I am going to bring a ton of questions for Kelly then, one basic one I have:

For the two girls (Tessie and yet to be named), do I need two wheels? I was planning on keeping only one igloo since it is big enough for two of them. I also wasn't sure if I needed two water bottles and food dishes or should just the 1 of each be ok if I keep them filled appropriately.

Space is NOT an issue, as I have a cage the size of Kelly's for her multiple female hedgies.

Thanks!
Kristyn (Tessie and Tabatha (a.k.a. Tabby))

Re:Second Hedgie Question - 2007/10/17 14:31 You MAY be able to get by with just one wheel, but from the posts I've been reading you should definitely go with two - some hogs are...well..hogs and don't like to share at all, so it would all depend on how Tessie feels about sharing her wheel with the new baby.

Re:Second Hedgie Question - 2007/10/19 07:26 If I were you I would plan on two wheels, especially if you have lots of room for them. That way they will both get plenty of exercise Ann
