Newbie quilling question - 2006/12/05 02:11 My girl Durian will be 6 months old soon. She went through a bit of quilling between 12 and 16 or so weeks, but not alot of quills came out (not as many as I expected anyway). She was a little grumpy for a few weeks, but not too bad. So at 6 months, her quilling should be done, right? Guess I'm not quite sure what to expect...most of the quill loss was on her neck/ shoulder area, but it seems to have filled in nicely....

Re:Newbie quilling question - 2006/12/05 15:55 Yep, her quilling should be basically over. Some hedgehogs have another quilling phase as adults, but it is usually MUCH milder than the typical baby quilling.

Re:Newbie quilling question - 2006/12/06 03:02 Thanks Becca. Phew, I'm glad that's over...wasn't as bad as I thought, really.
