Required reading - 2007/06/23 08:42 For anybody who wants to know about what the day to day life of a hedgehog breeder is really like, I suggest reading

the hedgamablog at Hamor Hollows site
http://www.hamorhollow.com/content/blogcategory/18/58/

and also the new blog at Pogstar's site
http://pogstarhedgehogs.blogspot.com/

Kelly and Laura do a really good job of putting into words what we all face when breeding both good and bad.

Re:Required reading - 2007/06/24 11:21 Thank you.

I also found out that Apple, one of my retired girls that was living with Alison, passed away yesterday.

There has been a mass exidous lately. I'm not sure why these things always hit in clumps, but they do. You do deal with the cycle of life when you breed. It's not just all cute little happy babies.
