Re:50liter / 46quart CareFresh Ultra for 16$ Onlin - 2007/08/13 18:16I live in NY and PetCo has been having a sale on the big bags of Carefresh. I paid 14.99 a bag. I was going to do Pine but due to there only being a $1 difference in price for the same size bag I went w/ carefresh and got three bags
Don't know if it is a nationla sale or just local though.

Re:50liter / 46quart CareFresh Ultra for 16$ Onlin - 2007/08/13 19:45i've heard carefresh ultra is really the best, the others tend to smell funny. Of course, this is only what i've gleaned from my long hours of reading through the message board.

Re:50liter / 46quart CareFresh Ultra for 16$ Onlin - 2007/08/14 00:42Well, the coloured stuff is just fluff in my eyes. I don't know if a hedgie would like or dislike this to be honest, but I doubt he'd (or she'd) care.
I myself prefer the Ultra stuff. That#s the white litter.
The reason is the same why I prefer my white, fluffy toilet paper at home as opposed to the recicled gray-brown stuff we have at work: It asborbs better and is softer. (What was that about the private lives of Hedgie owners?)
Oh, and Cand? Grrr! I want mine this cheap at stores, too!!

The carefresh ultra is softer and a bit more absorbent, that's why it is usually more expensive. Because it is lighter in color it is easier to tell the dirty areas too,

Well, that's a trick question. There are a few thinks you never buy generic: ketchup, Q-tips, paper towels, and (as I've been told recently) Wosteshire sauce.
That being said, you can keep your cushie squashie toilet papers. Give me a roll of Scotts (which is still name brand, just not cushie name brand) single ply! It lasts bloody forever, so there is less chance of being caught on the toilet with your panties down and an empty roll. That cushioned stuff has to be replaced too often.

It's a duo purpose tool. You can wipe your butt, or sand the floor.

Re:50liter / 46quart CareFresh Ultra for 16$ Online! - 2007/08/29 11:02This is so cool! thanks. I paid $23.23 including shipping. You even get a 5% discount. I'm sure each persons actual price will be a little different because of shipping locations. I would have to drive 30 minutes one way to the closest pet store that sells this and 30 miles back....with gas prices now, I saved time, money and it's coming to my door.!!!! Thanks soooo much for this tip.Mommabear's Family sugar gliders: Tom, Jerry, Bongo, Roo, and Jasper ferrets: BG (baby girl), and Lucy heggie: Sue and Emma husband: 1 EXTREMELY understanding and pet loving - Alan son: moved from nest and has started his own - Brad

It is on sale for $16.49 at petfooddirect again. Plus, I used ebates for a 5% cash back rebate and a coupon for 15% off, so I got a good deal I also bought some dog food for my pugs that was cheaper than the stores around, plus I paid no tax.
Gotta love petfooddirect. I think shipped it came to $19 minus 20% in coupons/rebates, so just about $15.50 per bag shipped.
Happy shopping!

Re:50liter / 46quart CareFresh Ultra for 16$ Onlin - 2008/03/01 14:40unfortunately the shipping is way too expensive for me it would actually be a whole lot cheaper just going to petsmart (which is only five minutes away) and buying it. plus i get an employee discount.
