Heating pads- dry vs moist - 2007/08/22 23:59 Okay, so I've been researching heating pads, and I've come across two types- moist and dry... I gather one has a water proof outside and the other doesn't? I'm not sure what the difference other than that could be. Anyone who has human heating pads for their hedgies, can you please explain? I'd really appreciate it, thanks. *~*Steph*~*

Re:Heating pads- dry vs moist - 2007/08/26 09:35 I know they don't need "moist" heat, but in looking at the heating pads, it's not a difference in the heat it seems, just the packaging itself. The "moist" heating pads tend to be made out of waterproof material, where the "dry" heating pads are made of more porous material- at least it seems to me. This is why I wanted to ask someone who has purchased human heating pads for their hedgies to see if they knew. *~*Steph*~*
