Looking for a hh near WV or even SC. - 2007/07/12 19:16 I'm having a lot of trouble locating a hedgehog in my area. I've had one before and I loved her. She was one of the best pets I've ever had. I've been married since July 15, 2006. My husband and I saw three in a pet store, and although they were pretty cheap, I decided to wait because I would rather buy directly from a breeder, or at least not from an unclean petshop like this one. Cole fell in love with the prickly things, so he FINALLY told me that he would like to have two girls. We are welcoming owner surrenders, so rescue hedgies are not out of the question, but we would prefer to purchase two babies.

If anyone knows of a breeder near me, I live near Charleston, WV. I would be tickled. I am willing to travel somewhat. Some places in OH and KY are not too far out of reach. Also, if I haven't found one by November, I have relatives in SC that will be making a trip up either for Thanksgiving or Christmas, so anyone along that route might be a possibility as well. PM or email me.

Re:Looking for a hh near WV or even SC. - 2007/08/23 12:42 If your still looking. I know of a pet store near the NC, SC line (west side). I bought my amy and emma from them and they are beautiful. they were 8weeks old when I got them and very docile for babies. Their eyes were clear and shiny and their ears clean as a whistle. No dry skin, mites and even had trimmed nails. They are not kept in the pet shop. They must be ordered. They order on Tuesdays only and you have to call before 2:00pm to find out what is available on their list. By 2:00 or earlier the next day your babies are there. They will call you or who ever is picking them up when they arrive. If you would like to find out more feel free to e-mail me. Mommabear's Family
