Simple quill question... - 2007/09/13 13:45 I'm wondering if this is normal, can't say I've seen too many backsides of hedgehogs as of late...

Baron has some barespots (covered in white fure though) between his bottom and tail, it seems like quills SHOULD be there, but there's also a sparse spattering of white fur that resembles that on his tummy (though the fur on his tummy is much denser then here)...just wondering if this is normal, or quill loss?

but seems like, if there's fur there, he's probably okay. I'd start worrying if there was no quills AND no fur.
