University Study - 2007/11/08 12:35
I found this kind of interesting- I've never really heard anything about how the urban hedgehogs are doing:

Wouldnt it be amazing to see them in the wild or in this case, loose in the city?! That is so cool

I'm plotting a way for us to go to England, Germany, Africa, etc on a hedgehog spotting tour and then to write it off as a business expense.

"Hedgehogs keep growing all their lives, which means that the oldest individuals are also the largest."
I wonder if that is true or the reported misconstrued some information. If it is true, I wonder if it is for our African Pygmies?

Yes, but mine tend to only grow wider with age.

Scotland is a GORGEOUS country, you're so right! I had the opportunity to go there two summers ago, we mostly just stayed in Edinburgh, but took trains throughout the countryside. That was before I really knew anything much about hedgehogs. I wish I would have known then what I know now!

Ok, I'll hold the first International hedgehog party here in Glasgow!
Might be a bit of a squeeze in my apartment, but what the hey.......everyone's welcome!
We can all go out hedgehog spotting.....

Anyone have some miles they can lend me to go toward my ticket?
Make sure the party is at a warm time of year!

Probably a good idea. The wild hedgehogs have all gone into hibernation now anyway.
I'm seriously considering hibernating myself this year, it's freezing!...... wouldn't it be great if we could all curl up and sleep until spring (a good way to lose those extra few pounds as well).
