new hedgie not eating!! - 2007/12/23 20:20 i've had my new hedgie for about 48 hours but she hasn't been eating or drinking anything! is this normal or is something wrong?

Re:new hedgie not eating!! - 2007/12/23 20:37 It takes a while to settle in. Usually around 4 days or so and then she should be much improved. Keep her food the same for now and make sure her water is always available. Relax and welcome to the world of hedgehogs! Julie Pierce

Re:new hedgie not eating!! - 2007/12/24 06:09 That definitely happened to me. I was very worried but eventually he came around.

I did however break his kibble up into smaller pieces for him for the first day or two and after that he was fine. Not sure I actually needed to, but who knows...
