Hedgehog Welfare definitely does some good work with re-homing rescue hedgehogs and their hats and bags (and other sewn items) are made very well. We don't agree with everything they say but there are a lot of opinions in the animal world, and it is up to the individual owner to research all they can and decide what is best for their pet.
Anyway, if you are looking for hand made hedgehog products (hats, bags, liners, bonding sacks), they have some great stuff. Nancy in Canada also makes really nice stuff, here is her site: http://www.freewebs.com/thehedgieden/index.htm (it seems to be loading slow right now, but is worth the wait)
