EDIT: no, its never cold around here! it's around 27 dec C. and that's considered cool weather

Most likely Penelope was purring! Isabel used to do it when she was snoozing and Harley does it when he's sitting on top of a toilet paper tube he just finished tearing up.

to weird. Sometimes Ava does something similar when she's napping in my lap or right after she boroughs into the crook of your arm. You can see her quills move ever so slightly like they're vibrating and if you touch her you can feel her shake very slightly. Is that purring? Ava's mom!

About the "uber huff" Noodles does that sometimes when he is calming down from a huffle session! I always thought it was kinda cute. It's different though from when he is purring/vibrating, it's much more noisy (even though it's quiet compared to the huffing). I've never had Cotton or Cocoa do this- I guess it's just a Noodles thing *~*Steph*~*
