Re:What wheel to buy??? - 2008/03/20 11:36 update on the press and seal plastic wrap.

Harley won't poop on it. I have no idea why but he won't. So every morning there is a neat little pile next to his wheel. It's so funny. I guess he pauses and hangs his butt over the side!

He was using his litterbox like clock work UNITL I gave him the stupid wheel now he only goes on his wheel. But since I started using the plastic wrap he's stopped. I am trying to make a litter pan that holds the wheel. Right now he's using his litterbox as a dust bath. Silly hedge.

Re:What wheel to buy??? - 2008/03/20 23:37 omelette usually only goes on the wheel with the plastic wrap. if i take the wheel out, then she just poops all over the place. so i guess she really just enjoys using the wheel as a litter box! although occasionally i do find little presents next to her water bottle because she likes to pause to poop when she's drinking water...silly hedgie. Re:What wheel to buy??? - 2008/03/28 23:19 I own two of the Quality Cage wheels for Tessie and Tabby. They seem to love them. They are definitely quiet, but Tabby is SO active that I think clouds in the sky would make a noise with her. I never noticed a problem with the bar on the side. Kristyn (Tessie and Tabatha (a.k.a. Re:What wheel to buy??? - 2008/03/29 11:38 Well, I was looking to replace two faulty bucket wheels I made way back when, and decided to go with the Quality Cage ones, 11inch. The lady on the phone said they'd be shipped on Monday, and shipping was only like nine bucks from Oregon to Michigan. Considering the prices I've seen for people who sell their bucket wheels, this shipping is much cheaper! Keeping fingers and quills crossed that they arrive safely . I hope Cotton and Noodles like them! *~*Steph*~*

Re:What wheel to buy??? - 2008/04/04 03:20 Man, there is no love for the comfort wheel. I for one like mine. No bars to worry about. No wire that can hurt little feets. Easy cleaning. Can be found at almost every pet store.Doesn't break, shatter, or come appart. I like it. I don't sleep with her in my rooom so the not absolutely silent element is not an issue here.
