Freeze dried superworms - 2008/02/15 07:05 Hey I just bought some freeze dried superworms from exotic nutrition. They are great - you dont have to worry about cutting off the heads like you do with live ones and they are huge (about the size of 3 regular mealies). So far I give them a thumbs up!!!! Julie Pierce

Re:Freeze dried superworms - 2008/02/24 10:52 I would recommend cutting off their heads anyway. They could re-hydrate and wake up in the hedgehog's stomach and then go all ninja, and that would be very bad!

Re:Freeze dried superworms - 2008/02/26 10:50 Okay I can't take anymore. I have to open my big mouth here.

My hedgeghogs always CHEW the heck out of their food. Also they can be aggressive when it comes to their dinner. Heck read the other postings in the Treats and Supplements forum about the hedgehogs eatting LIVE lizards. How on earth can a Superworm be mean enough to take on a hungry hedgehog and win?
