Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/02/23 00:04 I was wondering if doggie Ice cream would be okay to give to a hedgie. It is digit's birthday coming up and I wanted to giver her something special. We give these to my dog on his birthday, so I thought that Digit might like them too! Here is a link

I would only give her a little bit of it though, not the whole container. I think that would be a little too much B-day ice cream!

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/02/23 06:17 I have no idea if this is possible, but couldn't the ice cream lower her body temperature?

ps. I'm not sure if hedgehogs get brainfreeze either. That might be a concern as well.

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/02/23 09:17 A little bit of doggie ice cream should be just fine.
Happy Birthday Digit!

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/02/23 09:34 If you buy a pack of them you'll have your birthdays taken care of for the next couple years. Maybe you should get some more hedgehogs to help her out...

oh... duh... I just read the part about you having a dog.

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/02/23 10:56 Would a hedgehog eat something that's frozen? I'm interested in seeing how it goes. If all else fails you could make a hedgehog birthday cake. Someone on here did it awhile back and posted pictures. I think it was Noodles mom. Of course Noodles didn't get any cake but he looked cute in the picture standing next to his cake.

Well my dog doesn't live with me. He lives with my parents, maybe I could bring him the rest of the ice cream too!

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/02/24 08:10 Maybe you could have your hedgehog birthday party at your parents house, though I'm not sure hedgehogs appreciate surprise parties. Check out Ham's Blog !

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/03/13 17:09 No not yet. I was going to get Digit her birthday party on her actual birthday (feb 28th) but as I just got back from a 4 day stay in the hospital I was too sick to celebrate! I am now going to give her a birthday party on the day the I got her (April 23rd). I will tell everyone if she likes it! http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=106956777

OMG! I hope you are okay now! I am sure Digiit is helping you to a speedy recovery. Those little faces are good medicine.

Re:Doggie Ice Cream - 2008/03/14 12:10 Yeah, Digit was great medicine for me. I think she was one of the few things that could make me smile when I was really sick. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=106956777
