Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/03/13 17:12 So what exactly are you supposed to feed the super worms to???? They seem like they are too dangerous for most animals. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=106956777

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/03/13 23:57 Sara, i am sooo jealous of you right now! a poster?! i need to get myself one of those! that's awesome! oh and actually omelette and i have watched Bizarre Foods together. but she's not much of a tv watcher. she gets distracted too easily.
i think superworms are mainly for larger reptiles. i used to feed them to adult bearded dragons and adult pac man frogs with no side effects. maybe it depends more on the digestive system of the animal in question?
and on another note, '87 was also the year Journey broke up.

I don't think hedgehog eyesight is good enough to see a tv all that well. But Iz would set on my leg and stare at the tv as though she could see it, so we decided Bizarre Foods would be a good hedgehog show, lol. Harley runs amuck with his tp tube during tv time.

Journey lol! I do remember them. I just turned 30. But that movie is a classic! I think my friend found that poster at Spencer's in the mall. It's a great poster. I have a few movie posters.

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/03/14 11:59 I turn 28 on Sunday so I'm right there with you Hedgehogmadhatter. LOL

Poor Correy Haim is getting no love! He was cute back in the day but not at all now.

OHHH Journey...

You know what makes me feel old? Seeing "tweens" wearing faded Nirvana t-shirts and calling me Ma'am. I remember when Nirvana was the new hottness.

I think I'm going to go home and put in Journey's greatest hits and then Nirvana unplugged

My younger cousins (who are in high school) don't know who the Smashing Pumpkins are! And they think President Regan was that guy who took over after Kennedy was shot. Oh and Nirvana and Guns and Roses are now Classic Rock! holy cow.

Apparently it is rated R. It came out in 1987 and I was ten. My mom thought it was a riot and let us watch it on the VCR but she used the MOM censorship program.. IE "TURN AWAY! Until I say you can look!" I haven't seen it in years but they play it on TV off and on so it can't be THAT bad.. but then I don't watch TV that much and standards are slipping!

I'm not a vampire fan but it's a good moive. Comedy/horror. I found a wikipeia thing about it.

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/03/17 17:30 yeah the first time i really felt old was when i heard Guns 'N' Roses and Metallica on the classic rock radio station. i remember listening to them on my walkman! nowadays kids are listening to their generation's "hot new band" on their iPods! it's a weird thought. but i don't like to think about it often... Yeah it's very unsettling. What's even worse is when you look up and realize your baby hedgehog is getting old!

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/12 07:44 I'd never be bothered with Superworms, I'm sure they taste almost the same as mealies. A lot of people say you should cut their heads off but from what I've read Hedgies take on snakes in the wild so I'm sure they'd cope with an "evil" worm. The speed Lychee eats them I can't imagine one having time to take him on.

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/12 09:39 you have to cut their heads off because sometimes they swallow them whole and then the superworms can actually eat their way out from the inside. WOOOAAHHH i know right. That would have to be one big hedgie to swallow a whole snake. Becky

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/12 11:27 After much research I have come to these conclusions.

1.In July Lost Boys II is coming out on DVD and has both Corys in it! I saw this on Netflixs.

2.I think a hedgehog could win against a Superworm but our pet hedgehogs aren’t used to fighting their food. Also the nasty buggers bite and the last thing I need is to be bitten by a worm with a bad attitude. So I don’t see a reason to buy Superworms. That and they think they are better than the other worms and there isn’t enough room in my fridge door for an ego that big.

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/12 16:38 Saw an ad for a television show about the "Two Coreys" I'm not sure how they kept it together long enough to make a second movie! One looked pretty drugged out of his mind and the other looked like he was ticked off all the time! It's supposed to be on A&E or something like that. Either way I hope the movie is as good as the first one!

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/12 17:26 I watched The Two Coreys show. It was canceled after just a few episodes unless they are trying to bring it back for a 2nd run. It was kinda dumb anyways. ~Erin~

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/13 11:37 I don't watch that much tv though I have to admit I watch that Gene Simmon's show about his family, it's too funny.

I know they ham stuff up and set things up but as far as I can tell from the commericals the Cory show wasn't fake. They hate each other.

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/13 13:29 They used to be bad boys but I think now with age they have chilled out more. Corey Feldman is now married and I believe has a kid. Corey Haim is unemployed, broke and a mess. I am not too crazy about them together now but together in License To Drive they were hilarious!

Corey Feldman used to be HOT!!!

He's atleast 8-9 years older than me though and now he's okay looking. But back in the day.

These days my heart belongs to Josh Groban. Yup. Poor Harley, I think if he hears one more Groban CD he'll run away.

Re:Super Worms... what's the deal? - 2008/06/13 18:13 I didn't even know there was a Lost Boys 2?! I'm not a big fan of sequels, unless it's Star Wars or something.
I haven't ever caught the Corey's show, but yeah I hate to admit it I do watch Gene Simmon's Family Jewels. I hated it at first and then my ex got me watching it. Although I hate the theme song, I can never get it out of my head.
And yeah Corey Feldman was hot. Wait didn't he have a band? I remember he was on tour and my sister went to see him. I don't think I ever heard his music but from what I hear it wasn't too good.
