Eating Hair - 2008/04/16 08:18 So, today well a few mins ago i was letting my hedgie *poe* climb up on me he was sitting on my shoulder while i was watching tv. next thing i know i hear him playing in my hair i didn't think anything of it then he started like chomping down on it eating it

of course i pulled him off my hair and he climbed right back up there trying to eat it some more. i put him back in his cage and took my hair out of my pony tail and he had chewed a nice chunk out thank god i have alot of hair or it would be really funny looking

anywho anyone elses hedgies like hair?

Re:Eating Hair - 2008/04/16 13:46 Funny we were just talking about this the other day! My hedgie, Hazel has bitten my hair off before! Chomp, chomp, chomp, snip! It's not like I use fruity shampoo or anything. I think she has outgrown the hair biting thing though, it's been a few months since it happened.I guess I can't call her Hazel Huffandpuff the Hair Biting Hedgie anymore! LORI, SOUTHINGTON, CT

Re:Eating Hair - 2008/04/16 18:28 I have known a lot of hedgies that love to "groom" their owners. I have a few that think its just great but as of yet (knock on wood) I havent had any of them chomp my hair off. At least not yet...LOL Julie Pierce

Re:Eating Hair - 2008/04/17 09:59 Noodles ALWAYS go for my hair. The girls don't seem to care too much. Once I heard him licking and wasn't too concerned, thinking he'd just anoint. But then I heard the sound of crunching and cut hair, and low and behold he sat in my hands with a little chunk of hair dangling from his mouth (I swear he was laughing at my attempts to grow it out). *~*Steph*~*
