Anyone heard of this breeder?? - 2008/04/12 23:43 I met a girl today who states her hedgie is from a breeder in New York called Hedgehogs in Space.

I've never heard of them until today and there is very limited information on them on the web??

Re:Anyone heard of this breeder?? - 2008/04/13 12:17 She's the first person I've heard of getting a hedgie from them. I've met a couple of hedgie owners in the area and most of them got theirs out of state like I did or from a petstore.

The girl said that her hedgie from them never really warmed up to her like her last hedgie did. Her first one was a rescue.

I told her that Ava has always been a cuddler and had a great personality since the moment we got her. I'm still really glad we went with Julie! I'm just wondering because I found something on them that said they were a "larger breeder" but I had never heard of them.

Re:Anyone heard of this breeder?? - 2008/04/13 15:07 That's Nicole something or other. She lived in Texas for awhile and then moved to NY about 2 years ago. I don't think she is breeding hedgehogs anymore, but I could be wrong. I heard through the grape vine that she adopted a baby.

Re:Anyone heard of this breeder?? - 2008/04/18 19:20 I was going to adopt a hedgehog from her when I was up north, but she was downsizing at the time and getting ready for a break if I remember right. I remember something about a baby too.

Re:Anyone heard of this breeder?? - 2008/04/20 12:22 Technically, she was in New Mexico, not Texas
From there, she moved to New York a couple/few? years ago where she has stopped breeding and is focused on human kids now.

Re:Anyone heard of this breeder?? - 2008/04/20 23:04 Human kids are so much less fun though

Congrats to her on the two legged kids Just thought it odd that she is literally in our back yard and this was the first we'd heard of her. Thank you Stasi.
