color change - 2008/04/30 19:16 Is it normal for a hedgehog to change color during her 8-10 week old quilling? peanut's quills are growing back with lots of white ones. Before she only had maybe 10 white ones on her whole back. Becky

Re:color change - 2008/05/01 05:24 It's not abnormal-some dark babies stay dark. Others snowflake or turn much lighter as they go through quilling. Ann

Hedgehog also be like that. My friend's hedgehog color changed from Salt&Pepper into Platinum, No reason right but yeah that's true.

I think its a consensus that after a year old they do get lighter or fade....so if your friend's hedgie is over a year, this is probably normal.
