I've read on the hedgehogcentral's color guide that you can't tell a baby's true color until 9 weeks old, but I'm wondering what you can tell when they are still wee babes? Does the nose color stay the same from 2 weeks on....and is the skin color stay the same as they get older (either pink or grey)?
I've also seen babies with pinto-type "racing stripes"....albino stripes down the middle, but I'm curious if they stay...or if they go away as they get older, and start to quill.
I'm a hedgehog color junkie....what can I say
