beanie baby dog toys - 2006/07/23 23:41 So I was at the store yesterday and they have this new thing which seems to be a 'pet friendly' version of the beanie babies. I picked up one of the hedgehogs (it doesn't have the bead eyes and nose like the actual beanie) It is filled with crinkly sounding material and has a squeaker. I gave it to my cage of girls last night and found that they really enjoy dragging it around. It's almost bigger then half of them and yet they get a kick out of it

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/07/24 00:14 It sounds cool! What store were you at? A Target or Wal-Mart perhaps?

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/07/24 02:34 Oh yes, please tell me where you bought that. Snowball sleeps with a beanie bear and loves it. I have removed all the ribbons and things that could hurt him. He loves stuffed toys. Herbie has a pillow shaped like a bone that says bite me on it. He loves to drag it all around the cage. I think they would really like one that squeaks. Cyn and Hedgie Boys

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/07/26 16:00 I might try getting one of these too. I keep putting all kinds of toys in Ellie's cage like bears, balls, cars, and lots of tubs. The only thing that she seems to play with is her tp tube...the rest don't seem to be used at all. Maybe she'll like this toy though.

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/07/29 00:25 I went to petsmart and bought monkeys and bears for Herbie and Snow. They love them. Yay! New hedgie toys.
By the way, it is a darn good thing Petsmart here does not sell Hedgies, I would be bringing home a new baby once a week. LOL.

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/08/03 11:12 So, regular beanie babies are alright, as long as there isn't a loose ribbon or thread for them to chew on?

Sonic's not much of a biter anyways.

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/08/03 14:24 The mini beanies like came out of McDonald's happy meals work well. Snow has a mini beany bear. The bear originally had a ribbon around it's neck which I cut off so hedgie feet could not get caught in it. He loves it and sleeps with it constantly. Cyn and Hedgie Boys

Re:beanie baby dog toys - 2006/08/16 19:07 i love the bow wow beanies for my hedgie. i have a couple such as a mouse skunk and a duck and my huey only seems to love the duck. he carries it into his igloo and sleeps nestled up to it. when hes playing he will pull it out and cary it through his tunnels and toss it around. my dogs love them too. deffinalty the best toy ive bought for any animal in a long time.
