Albino Babies?? - 2007/03/13 22:21 Here is one for all you hedge lovers!
What is the average odds of getting an albino from two colors parents? How many have you gotten from two regular parents? Did you get all albinos from albino parents? What was the ratio over colors to albino babies?

Re:Albino Babies?? - 2007/03/13 23:38 It all depends on the genes the hedgehogs carry. I've gotten all albinos, all chocolates, and a mix. It's a total roll of the dice.

Re:Albino Babies?? - 2007/07/14 14:49 I've gotten an albino parents out of two colored parents when I knew that the closest albino ancestor was 5 generations back on one side, and 8 generations back on the other. It's a persistent gene!
