About 6 months ago my dad decided I needed another pet because my cat was alittle TOO smothered with my love so he suggested a hedgehog, soon I began finding every little bit of info I could on one, and 6 months of research later I finally have one!

How did you get involved in the crazy world of hedgehogs? My third grade teacher had one, and I fell in love. I started researching again, found Dani located 15 minutes away, picked out my baby, and waited.. three weeks? visiting at least once, sometimes more a week. Last night I got to bring him home, and he is fantastic.

How did you get involved in the crazy world of hedgehogs? My roommate mentioned seeing one a few years back and I started to research them online. We're both very eager to have a new buddy, especially after visiting with Kelly and friends. Thanks guys!
edit: I suppose I should have mentioned that after all of the reading that I did I realized that I was obsessed. I guess I forgot to mention that because I imagine that's what happens with everyone. When I finally saw my first hedgehog on person my head almost exploded. It was the best time ever! Luckily I had the common sense to wait until I had all of the supplies I'd need before I brought one home. But now... I can't wait!

How did you get involved in the crazy world of hedgehogs~ Well, I picked up a critter magazine 'cause it had an article about chinchillas in it and my brother just recently had gotten one. I was flipping through the ads looking at all the different animals and the cutest little thing ever was on one of the pages * the pic of the little baby on the green blanky yawning* so I scooted on over to the website, just to look at adorable pics, and before you know it, I was hooked!

How did you get involved in the crazy world of hedgehogs? ive always thought they were cute and were cool animals (one of my elem. school teachers had one i think this is her fault... lol 10yrs later) and have always been interested in them, then sunday i went to the pet store (like i do once in a while to stare at the hedgehogs and play with them for a little bit lol) and i fell in love with my little guy and had to have him.

I walked into a petstore and saw the sign for hedgehogs. I wondered who was crazy enough to buy a pet with QUILLS. I picked up a hedgehog and it was love at first sight. My lady Isabel Hedgehog passed in Sept from cancer and I've been feeling awful about it. I had her for five years and had to put her down. She was the only hog I had left. My others have died of cancer a few years back. But on my birthday Sat Dec 8th I am getting a baby boy hedgehog! So presenting Harley Hedgehog!
He is the cutest thing going. I can't wait to be a hedgehog mom again.

I'm from Québec in Gatineau city.
I've 4 hedghogs and I'll become a breeder soon. I will know if my hedghogs' pregnant on December 31. If so, I'll have babies on the fisrt week of January!!
I've had my fisrt hedgehog on december 28th 2006.
I'm here to learn english. I'm taking courses but I have to pratice.... so why not mix my passion with my courses??!!!

i have 1 shih tzu, 2 cats, 2 african dwarf frogs, 1 tarantula, and one california king snake ( he is loose at the moment please let me know if you see him at your feet), and a brand new bouncing baby boy hedgie!

i was just sitting with my friend one day and he said that he wanted a hedgehog for a pet and i was like "me too!" so i began researching and fell in love. i didnt even see a real hedgehog before. the first ones i saw were the ones i had shipped for me and my friend. i have always been into weird pets though.

How did you get involved in the crazy world of hedgehogs : When I was five, I've been to France with my family and I met Mr.Piare (could be wrong spelling) and Mrs.Louison my mother's friends. It's the first time that they gave me a hedgehog doll. I love it so much because Mr.Piare quite like Sandy Claus for me. From that time 'til now I have hedgehogs dolls more than 30 dolls in my house. However, my Sandy Claus was died when I was just 12-13 years old. When ever I miss them I'll see my hedgehogs and thinking about them.... That's why now I'm 20 years old I still love hedgehog like I love my family.
