Color question - 2007/05/18 21:08
I have a litter of babies that are 8 1/2 weeks old. In this litter, I have a little male that has the most unusual coloring I have ever seen. He is going to be a brown snowflake or something close to that when he is finished quilling. What makes him unusual is that his all white quills are very white. His banded brown quills are very strongly cream in color. Do you think that is just because he is quilling? When he is finished will the white and cream be the same color? He actually has 3 colors right now. I have tried several times to get pictures of him but it just doesn't show up well in the photo. He went to his new home this week but they are friends so I told them to keep trying to photograph it. I have never seen such a difference in the quill shades before. Has anyone ever seen this before? It makes him have very striking coloring. I wish it would photograph!!!! I am kind of kicking myself for not keeping him.
