soft sorbent is very good. absorbent and dust free. one bedding that you should stay away from is total comfort. it is probably one of the more dusty beddings out there. i've had a lot of rats get respiratory problems after using it. yesterdays news is also a good litter for small animals. well at least it works well for ferrets. there are some aspen pellets at petco (can't remember the name) i've never used it, but it seems like it might be worth a try.
