I used to work in a kitchen and we always one or two Aloe vera plants around when ever there was a minor burn or irritation. When Sparta started scatching herself I found that she had dry skin and so I cracked open a stem of one of the plants and gently rubbed it on her and she stopped scratching almost immediately.
