carefresh.....love it! - 2008/02/22 17:12
hi, i have always used shavings in my cages and had sort of pursuaded Milo to do his 'business' in one corner, Allie on the other hand went wherever she happend to be standing at the time.
i was at the pet shop the other day, saw carefresh and thought i'd give it a go.
so i re set up my cages with shavings one end where their houses are, then a puppy pad over the other half with carefresh on one corner of it. To my amazement the next morning all of the poop was in the carefresh and none anywhere else! I thought Milo might be clever enough to go as it was the same corner he was using anyway. But Allie? ..... I couldn't believe it.
for some reason thats where they like to 'go' now. which is good as i want to switch to Liners which i have ordered from Nancy at the hedgie den but was concerned i'd have to wash them everyday as Allie is so messy. but not anymore all will work out perfectly.
Although i have to wait til june for the liners as shipping is so expensive and i'm am going to canada in june, so nancy is going to send them to me while i'm there.....she's so helpful.
