Not that I have much experience with hedgehogs, but I know that many girls can live together and be happy roomies!
The hard part is though, some hedgies just don't get along well with others, and some like each other in the beginning but then develop a dislike.
If you were going to try to get another, I would reccomend getting a whole other cage incase it doesn't work out, because we wouldn't want any hedgies getting hurt!
It's too bad you couldn't take a hedgie for a week and try it out, because you never know what could happen in the future.
