I have had my hedgehog for two weeks now. I take him out every evening. He is now 8 weeks old. Some days he is less grumpy than others. I should probably say less scared because that is what I think it is. My question is how long does it take before they become friendlier? Mine will walk around and sniff or anoint your hair but he generally runs under some part of the blanket where he can hide. Do I allow him to continue to hide in the blanket even though he is on the bed with me or do I force him to be out in the open with no place to retreat.
