Re:is there soft kibble? - 2008/04/28 21:31 I know my hedgie loves poached organic chicken breast. I poach it in water or broth until it is really soft (and thoroughly cooked of course LOL) and then I offer it to my hedgie in very small sizes. It is soft enough that it probably would not require much chewing. My hedgie LOVES it and eats it with gusto. You may want to try that. I buy the organic breast 'tenders' which are just chicken breast cut into small portions. Usually one small tender will last a few days (I then throw the leftover out because I dont know how long they last once cooked). And if you eat chicken, you can make the rest of the tenders for yourself.

My hedgie also likes yam, organic applesauce, and tonight he ate a little piece of banana.
