If you tire her out enough then she will cuddle because she will just be too pooped to keep her eyes open long enough. Peanut actually did that like a little kid. She fell asleep as she was walking!  I also find that she doesn't run around like crazy if the light is bright. She just looks for a dark hole to stick her face in and then sleeps until I turn off the light. AND I found that she was really active exploring me when I first got her, but once I was all explored (like after a week or so) she was bored of me and then just sat in my lap.
